The Ohio House and Senate urge Congress to pass legislation ensuring organizations awarded federal grants receive retroactive funding for amounts not received during the partial federal government shutdown that began on December 22, 2018.

Addresses the impact of the shutdown on federal employees and grant-receiving organizations that do not receive pay or funding during the closure.

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to the President of the United States, Congress leadership, all Ohio Congressional delegation members, and Ohio news media.
