Recognizes the Governor's Thirty-ninth Annual Holocaust Commemoration held on May 9, 2019

Acknowledges that the Holocaust resulted in the systematic murder of more than twelve million people, including six million Jews, by Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945

States that the Holocaust serves as a historical example of the inhumanity that results when unchecked fear and indifference are fueled by those in power, and calls for vigilance to prevent such events from recurring

Designates May 9, 2019, as a day in Ohio to reflect on and remember this period of history and to work against prejudice and hatred

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media
