Designates April 26, 2020, as Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) Day in Ohio to honor citizens affected by DKA complications, particularly Antavia Lee-Worsham who died from DKA on April 26, 2017, at age 22.

Identifies DKA as one of the most common, costly, and dangerous acute complications in people with type 1 diabetes, occurring when the body lacks insulin and fat breaks down too rapidly, causing blood to become acidic.

Notes that 30-46% of children in the United States experience DKA at the time of type 1 diabetes diagnosis because the autoimmune disease is previously undiagnosed.

Documents that DKA-related hospitalizations increased in the United States during 2009-2014 across all age groups with highest rates among persons under 45 years, and that 54-76% of type 1 diabetes deaths in patients under 30 years can be attributed to DKA.

Requires transmission of authenticated copies of the resolution to the Governor of Ohio, the Director of Health, local boards of health, and Ohio news media.
