Acknowledged Peterson's creation of the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship Program to provide educational options for children with special needs beyond their home school district.

Noted Peterson's service as a retired pastor of Zion United Church of Christ and his roles as deputy auditor and finance director for Franklin County, where he served two terms.

Directed the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Peterson's family, including his wife Melissa and daughters Emily and Hannah.
