Michael Nehf retired as executive director of the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio on June 30, 2020, after serving in that position since 2008.

During his tenure, Nehf oversaw myriad operations, helped grow assets, navigated pension reforms, and improved the solvency of the retiree health care program.

Nehf served as a vital bridge between STRS Ohio's nearly half a million members and the state legislature, advocating for service retirement, disability and survivor benefits, and health care coverage.

The House of Representatives applauds Nehf for his paramount service and extends best wishes for continued success.
