Acknowledges that child abuse and neglect incidents have reached alarming proportions in Ohio and across the country, with rising statistics

Urges all citizens to observe the month with appropriate programs and activities to educate the public and prevent child abuse and neglect

Calls for cooperation among public leaders, family members, educators, and faith-based and civic organizations to address this community problem

Directs the Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media
