Prohibits health care professionals from engaging in conversion therapy when treating minor patients (those under 18 years old)

Applies to advanced practice registered nurses, physicians, psychologists, professional counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists licensed in Ohio

Defines conversion therapy as practices seeking to change sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expressions, or reduce same-gender attractions or feelings

Allows exceptions for assisting gender transition, providing acceptance and support, offering sexual orientation-neutral interventions for unsafe conduct, and counseling that does not seek to change sexual orientation

Requires state licensing boards (nursing, medical, psychology, counselor/social worker/marriage and family therapist) to impose sanctions including suspension, revocation, or refusal to issue or renew licensure for violations
