Am. Sub. S.B. No. 163 - Summary

• Creates and amends multiple nonstandard license plates in Ohio, including new plates for organizations like DeMolay, Bottoms Up Diaper Drive, A Kid Again, Ohio Carpenters, and various high schools.

• Provides for proration of plug-in electric and hybrid motor vehicle registration fees based on the number of months the vehicle is registered, rather than charging full annual fees.

• Modifies traffic camera penalty law by changing how Local Government Fund (LGF) reductions are calculated for subdivisions operating traffic cameras, and reimburses subdivisions penalized in FY2021 for traffic cameras operated by other subdivisions in the same county.
