S.B. No. 225 Summary

• School district boards of education must post signs containing a toll-free telephone number for reporting child abuse or neglect in each school building under their control in clearly visible, publicly accessible locations readily available to students.

• The state board of education may adopt rules regarding the size and location of the required signs.

• Amends sections 3314.03 and 3326.11 of the Revised Code to require community schools and STEM schools to comply with the new child abuse reporting sign requirement in section 3313.802.
