Prohibits public and nonpublic schools, school districts, interscholastic conferences, and athletics organizations from adopting rules that ban or obstruct wearing religious apparel during interscholastic athletics and extracurricular activities, including requirements for advanced approval or written waivers.

Allows schools and athletic organizations to limit religious apparel only if a legitimate danger to participants is identified, and requires offering all reasonable accommodations to students wearing religious apparel.

Defines "wearing religious apparel" as wearing headwear, clothing, jewelry, or other coverings while observing a sincerely held religious belief.

Provides civil liability immunity to schools, districts, employees, and athletics organizations executing duties under this section unless the act or omission constitutes willful or wanton misconduct, without eliminating other existing immunities under Ohio law.

Allows violations of this section to be addressed through civil actions for damages, injunctive relief, or other appropriate relief.
