Department of health must make the COVID-19 website (http://coronavirus.odh.gov) available in Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Somali, and Nepali.

Department must provide operators or translation services for the COVID-19 phone hotline (1-833-427-5634) in Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Somali, and Nepali.

Department may utilize language translation and interpretation services available through county departments of job and family services to fulfill these requirements.

Services must continue for as long as the website and phone hotline remain active.

Bill is declared an emergency measure effective immediately to ensure non-English proficient individuals can access vital COVID-19 information during the state of emergency declared by Executive Order 2020-01D on March 9, 2020.
