• Establishes an Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators to coordinate nurse licensure, enforcement, and information sharing among party states through a unified database system.

• Allows nurses with a multistate license to practice in all party states under one license while remaining subject to the practice laws of the state where patient care is provided.

• Requires employers and government entities hiring out-of-state nurses to report names to Ohio's board of nursing and provide nurses with information about Ohio nursing practice laws and rules.

• Takes effect one year after enactment; prior party states to the old Nurse Licensure Compact must withdraw within six months of this compact's effective date.
