Kaiyon McKinney, a sixth-grade student at Sandusky Middle School, won the 2019 Ohio Athletic Committee Junior High State Wrestling Championship in the 78-pound weight class with a 5-0 decision record.

McKinney trains with the Burnett Trained Wrestling Academy under coach Erik Burnett.
