Aliyah Gustafson, a student at Bowling Green State University, was selected to the 2019 NCAA Division I All-American first team in indoor track and field after placing seventh in shot put at the National Championship.

She earned five Mid-American Conference Championship titles and set a school record in the shot put.

The Ohio Senate recognizes her dedication to athletic excellence and the lessons learned through collegiate sports competition, including perseverance, hard work, and fair competition.

The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Aliyah Gustafson.
