Honors six officers of the Dayton Police Department—William C. Knight, Brian Rolfes, Jeremy Campbell, Vincent Carter, Ryan Nabel, and David Denlinger—for their heroic response to an active shooter in the Oregon District on August 4, 2019.

Officers responded immediately to gunshots and engaged the shooter, ending the crisis and preventing further loss of life after nine Ohioans were killed.

Recognizes the officers' selfless initiative, exemplary composure, and willingness to risk their own safety to protect the community.

Directs the Ohio Senate Clerk to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to the Dayton Police Department.
