Operation Hadley's Hope coordinated with law enforcement across multiple states to dismantle a criminal organization trafficking narcotics and stolen firearms, resulting in nearly 120 indictments, illegal weapons seizures, and reduced violent crime in the region

Task force included officers from Mansfield, Marion, and Ashland police departments, Richland County Sheriff's Office, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Drug Enforcement Administration

Thirteen named officers recognized for distinguished service include Detective Sergeants Stephen Blust and Joseph Soehnlen, Detective Nicole Gearhart, and others who demonstrated professional ethics and cooperation with the public
