Urges all Ohio citizens to observe the month with appropriate programs and activities focused on preventing child abuse and neglect.

Acknowledges that child abuse and neglect statistics continue to rise in Ohio and across the country, requiring community-wide cooperation to address the issue.

Calls for public leaders, family members, educators, and faith-based and civic organizations to join efforts in preventing and raising awareness about child abuse and neglect.

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit authenticated copies of the resolution to Ohio news media.
