Ohio Senate honors Ronald Eugene Rosser, a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II and the Korean War and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for valor in combat.

Rosser retired at the rank of Sergeant First Class after 22 years of military service and was a lifelong member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3297 and American Legion Post 222.

Established the Ron Rosser Public Service scholarship and the Richard and Gary Rosser scholarships named after his deceased brothers to honor their memories in his community.

Senate members pay tribute to Rosser's personal sacrifices, kindness, and commitment to service to his family, friends, community, and the State of Ohio.

Senate Clerk directed to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to Rosser's family.
