• Chairpersons must establish electronic means to converse with witnesses and receive documentary testimony and physical evidence remotely.

• Maintains existing requirements that all committee meetings are public, with 24-hour advance notice to news media and minutes filed within seven days of meetings.

• Does not apply to meetings of the joint legislative ethics committee (except for rule-making and administrative operation meetings) or caucus meetings.
