Enacts new section 3319.324 requiring school districts and chartered nonpublic schools to transmit student records within five school days of receiving a request from another district or school to which the student has transferred.

If a district or school has no record of the student's attendance, it must provide a statement of that fact within the five school day timeframe.

New requirement applies to both public school districts and chartered nonpublic schools when responding to record transfer requests.

Provision does not affect or reduce existing obligations under sections 3313.642 and 3313.672 of the Revised Code.

Amends sections 3314.03, 3326.11, and 3328.24 to include compliance with the new section 3319.324 record transmission requirement for community schools, STEM schools, and college-preparatory boarding schools.
