Enacts section 1349.63 of the Revised Code establishing the "Not On My Walk Act" to regulate internet-connected consumer devices like routers, modems, smart speakers, smart doorbells, and security cameras.

Requires sellers of attached consumer devices in Ohio to set default settings that prevent ancillary devices from connecting to the internet, with connections only possible through active consumer action changing default settings.

Prohibits activating connections through terms of service agreements without additional intentional consumer action from qualifying as compliance with the law.

Requires persons with remote software update capabilities to disable mesh network connections by default on existing devices that currently have such capabilities enabled, making connections opt-in only.

Classifies violations as unfair or deceptive acts under Ohio consumer protection law, allowing injured persons to sue for relief and granting the attorney general enforcement authority under sections 1345.01-1345.13 of the Revised Code.
