Prohibits applicants and licensed health care professionals from engaging in conversion therapy when providing mental health treatment to minor patients under eighteen years of age.

Defines conversion therapy as seeking to change sexual orientation or gender identity, including efforts to change behaviors, gender expressions, or reduce romantic attractions or feelings toward same-gender persons.

Applies to nurses, physicians, psychologists, professional counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, and chemical dependency counselors licensed in Ohio.

Permits supportive care that does not seek to change sexual orientation or gender identity, including assisting with gender transition, providing acceptance and support, and addressing unsafe sexual practices.

Authorizes state licensing boards to suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue or renew licenses or certificates of registration for professionals who violate the conversion therapy prohibition.
