• Bans school staff from encouraging minors to withhold information about gender identity from parents or guardians, and prohibits withholding such information from parents.

• Prohibits use of public funds for gender transition procedures for minors, excludes these procedures from Medicaid coverage, and makes them non-tax deductible.

• Prohibits health insurance policies in Ohio from covering gender transition procedures for minors under 18 years of age.

• Establishes that providing gender transition procedures to minors constitutes unprofessional conduct, allows civil claims for violations with up to 20 years from age 18 to file, and permits recovery of compensatory damages and attorney's fees; takes effect six months after enactment.
