Authorizes public body members to hold meetings and conduct hearings by teleconference, video conference, or similar electronic technology through July 1, 2022.

Members participating remotely are considered present in person, permitted to vote, and counted toward quorum requirements, notwithstanding Ohio Revised Code section 121.22(C).

Public bodies must provide at least 24 hours advance notice to the public and media by reasonable methods, except in emergencies requiring immediate action.

Public bodies must provide public access to remote meetings and hearings through livestreaming, internet, radio, television, cable, public access channels, teleconference call-in information, or similar means, ensuring the public can observe and hear all member discussions.

Declared an emergency measure effective immediately to continue essential state and local government operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.
