Encourages all Ohio citizens, including non-Native Americans, to learn about the histories and heritages of Native Americans and indigenous peoples who have lived on Ohio lands.

Cites the 2005 American Psychological Association call for immediate retirement of Native American sports mascots due to damaging effects on Native American youth self-esteem and heritage.

Directs the House Clerk to send copies of the resolution to the State Board of Education, Ohio High School Athletic Association, and Ohio news media.
