Recommends that the Air Force Research Lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base recognize Colonel William J. Cavanaugh for his contributions to the design and architecture of the AFRL Bio Acoustics Laboratory (Building 441, Area B, WPAFB)

Notes that the American Institute of Physics published Colonel Cavanaugh's oral history documenting the groundbreaking anechoic chamber architectural achievement developed in Ohio nearly seven decades ago

Acknowledges Colonel Cavanaugh's recognition by the National Veterans Memorial and Museum with a dedicated bench and by the National Museum of the United States Air Force with inclusion on its "Wall of Honor"

States that the Technical Committee on Architectural Acoustics of the Acoustical Society of America voted to endorse the naming effort

Directs the Ohio House Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to the United States Secretary of Defense, Ohio's Congressional delegation, and Ohio news media
