Nearly 150,000 Ohio residents are negatively affected by the provision's flawed application, which diminishes their retirement security despite their earned benefits.

Ohio has 1.7 million members in public retirement systems and over 450,000 beneficiaries who are impacted by this provision.

Notes that seven bills in the 117th United States Congress have been introduced to replace or repeal the Windfall Elimination Provision.

Directs the House Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to Congress leadership, Ohio's Congressional delegation, and Ohio news media.
