Creates a Joint Select Investigative Committee on Unemployment Compensation Fraud composed of six members: the chairperson, vice chairperson, and ranking member from both the Senate and House standing committees on civil justice.

Committee shall investigate groups and individuals, including state employees, who obtained or assisted others in obtaining unemployment compensation through fraudulent misrepresentation during calendar year 2020.

Committee may subpoena witnesses for testimony and compel production of books and papers relevant to the investigation.

Committee members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses; four members constitute a quorum and require affirmative vote of four members to act.

Committee must report findings to the appropriate prosecuting authority within 180 days of resolution adoption, at which time the committee is abolished.
