Designates April 28, 2022, as Workers Memorial Day in Ohio to honor workers killed or injured on the job and recommit to preventing workplace injuries and fatalities.

References the Occupational Safety and Health Act and Mine Safety and Health Act passed after decades of worker and union struggles to improve workplace safety.

Notes that Workers Memorial Day was designated in the Ohio Revised Code in 1990 and is celebrated annually on April 28 with organizations throughout Ohio recommitting to stopping on-the-job injuries and improving job safety and health protections.

Urges all Ohio citizens to take part in appropriate projects and activities in support of Workers Memorial Day and to voice the need for safe, healthy work that pays fair wages.

Requires the House Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to the Cincinnati AFL-CIO and Ohio news media.
