The Ohio House of Representatives commends the Ohio Council of Retail Merchants on its centennial anniversary, commemorated October 29, 2022.

The OCRM and its eight affiliated associations (Ohio Wholesaler-Distributors, Automatic Merchandising, Bakers, Chain Restaurant, Energy and Convenience, Jewelers, Receivables Management, and Tire and Automotive) have provided a century of service to Ohio's retail, wholesale, and distribution industries.

The organization has worked for 100 years to ensure local policies favor merchants and allow them to remain competitive while overseeing public policy, political activity, member benefits, and research.

The House Clerk is directed to transmit an authenticated copy of this resolution to the Ohio Council of Retail Merchants.
