Expels Representative Larry Householder from the Ohio House of Representatives under Article II, Section 6 of the Ohio Constitution, which requires a two-thirds majority vote for expulsion.

Householder was indicted on July 30, 2020, by federal grand jury for conspiracy to engage in racketeering activity, including bribery and money laundering.

The indictment alleges Householder conspired to secretly funnel and launder more than $60 million from a corporation for personal and political benefit, and to secure passage of legislation providing over $1 billion in corporate subsidies.

The conspiracy allegedly included efforts to thwart a referendum petition and block voters from deciding on the subsidies legislation.

Three of the six original defendants have pleaded guilty; Householder has not voluntarily resigned despite public requests to do so.
