Recognizes Ohio National Guard's exemplary service during COVID-19 pandemic, including assistance to food banks, medical facilities, testing sites, correctional institutions, long-term care facilities, and vaccine distribution.

Ohio National Guard comprises more than 16,000 members from Army and Air National Guard, the nation's fourth-largest National Guard force.

Deployed more than 2,300 members to healthcare systems, with approximately 200 providing medical support and approximately 2,100 providing general support including testing, food services, patient transportation, and administrative tasks.

Supported 15 testing locations statewide and assisted 12 food banks across all 88 Ohio counties, plus provided staffing and medical care to 17 correctional institutions and one long-term care facility.

Directs House Clerk to transmit resolution copy to Adjutant General Major General John C. Harris Jr., Governor Mike DeWine, and Ohio news media.
