Amends section 4517.12 of the Revised Code to permit all-electric motor vehicle manufacturers to operate one or more dealerships in Ohio if they have corporate headquarters and manufacturing facilities in the state as of January 1, 2021.

Allows such manufacturers to own, operate, or control licensed motor vehicle dealerships without restriction on the number of dealerships, unlike traditional manufacturers which are limited to three dealerships.

Permission to operate dealerships continues only if the manufacturer's motor vehicle operations are not sold or acquired and the manufacturer produces only all-electric motor vehicles.

Existing exemption allows manufacturers with established operations in Ohio as of January 1, 2014 to continue operating up to three dealerships if they produce only all-electric vehicles.

Takes effect on the later of October 9, 2021, or the effective date of the act, and coordinates with an earlier amendment from H.B. 263 of the 133rd General Assembly.
