OH SB169

Prohibits persons, political subdivisions, public officials, and state agencies from mandating coronavirus vaccines either directly or indirectly.

Requires that adult individuals cannot be vaccinated against coronavirus without their choice, incapacitated adults cannot be vaccinated without legal guardian consent, and minors cannot be vaccinated without parental or legal guardian consent.

Prohibits requiring individuals to show proof of vaccination or provide vaccination history or status, with exceptions for existing sections 1713.55, 3313.671, 3332.25, 3345.85, and Chapter 5104 of the Revised Code.

Declares vaccination history and status confidential and prohibits disclosure or release of this information without written consent from the individual, except as required by federal law.

Declares the act an emergency measure effective immediately, citing the development and administration of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines to Ohio residents.
