Enacts section 1333.97 of the Revised Code to prohibit retail merchants from requiring credit payment or refusing cash as payment for in-person transactions.

Applies only to in-person retail transactions and excludes telephone, mail, and internet-based transactions.

Classifies violations as unfair or deceptive acts under consumer protection law, allowing injured consumers to pursue legal action and remedies available under sections 1345.01 to 1345.13.

Exempts airports (if at least two food vendors accept cash in the same terminal), municipal parking facilities, mobile-only payment facilities, motor vehicle rental companies (accepting cashier's or certified checks), and sports or entertainment venues with seating capacity of 10,000 or more.

Grants the Ohio Attorney General enforcement authority using the same powers available under existing consumer protection statutes.
