Enacts section 4517.262 of the Ohio Revised Code to exempt motor vehicle dealers from liability for the contents of third-party vehicle history reports.

Defines "motor vehicle dealer" to include owners, partners, shareholders, officers, members, trustees, employees, and agents of a dealership.

Defines "third-party motor vehicle history report" as any report prepared by a person other than a dealer relating to vehicle ownership, title brands, liens, service history, condition, accident history, or mileage.

Prohibits dealers from being held liable for any representations, errors, omissions, or inaccuracies contained in third-party history reports when provided to purchasers, lessees, or other persons in connection with vehicle sales or leases.

Allows dealers to be held liable only for inaccuracies in third-party reports based on information the dealer directly provided to the report's preparer.
