Amends section 4765.16 and enacts section 4765.163 of the Revised Code to require human trafficking-related continuing education for emergency medical service personnel.

The state board of emergency medical, fire, and transportation services shall develop a human trafficking-related training course to be included in all emergency medical services continuing education programs.

The training course must be at least one hour of instruction and completion counts toward satisfactory completion of the emergency medical services continuing education program.

The human trafficking course curriculum shall include instruction in identifying possible victims of labor and sex trafficking, respectful communication techniques with victims, identifying and reporting abuse and exploitation, and local and national resources for victims.

Excludes the human trafficking-related course from the requirement that courses be developed under the direction of a physician specializing in emergency medicine.
