• Extends the deadline for establishing new community authorities from December 31, 2021 to December 31, 2024

• Allows unit owners in condominiums and planned communities to install solar energy collection devices on roofs or lots if the installation cost is not a common expense or if the declaration specifically permits and regulates such installations

• Permits electronic mail notification to unit owners and planned community owners for notices required by declarations or bylaws, provided owners have given prior written authorization

• Modifies record inspection rights for unit owners and lot owners by clarifying that documents older than five years and materials containing confidential information (personnel matters, legal communications, contract negotiations, enforcement information, and legally protected materials) may be restricted unless board approval is obtained
