Urges the United States Senate to ratify the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), adopted by the United Nations on December 18, 1979.

Notes that 187 of 194 UN member nations have ratified CEDAW, making the United States one of only seven nations that has not, alongside Iran and Sudan.

President Jimmy Carter signed CEDAW on July 17, 1980, but the United States Senate has not yet provided advice and consent for ratification.

States that ratification will not require the United States to change its laws but only to submit regular reports to an implementation committee.

Directs the Ohio Senate Clerk to transmit copies of this resolution to the U.S. Senate leadership, Ohio's U.S. Senators, and Ohio news media.
