Ohio applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a limited national convention for proposing an amendment establishing term limits for members of Congress.

The convention would be limited exclusively to proposing an amendment setting term limits for U.S. House members and U.S. Senate members.

The House Clerk is directed to transmit authenticated copies to the President, Senate Secretary, House Speaker, House Judiciary Committee leadership, Ohio's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures.

This application shall be aggregated with similar applications from other states to reach the two-thirds threshold required by Article V, but not combined with applications on other subjects.

The application constitutes a continuing application that remains in effect until at least two-thirds of state legislatures submit applications on the same subject.
