Ohio Senate honors Dr. Elizabeth Lolli as the 2023 Ohio Superintendent of the Year, as recognized by the Buckeye Association of School Administrators

Dr. Lolli serves as superintendent of Dayton Public School District since 2018, with prior experience as a classroom teacher, principal, and curriculum director

Under her leadership, the Dayton Public School District closed student achievement gaps in elementary schools, improved overall report card ratings, reinstated band and choir programs, increased neighborhood school centers, and opened the first school-based health center

The Senate applauds Dr. Lolli's stewardship, vision, and integrity as an outstanding advocate for Ohio's students and their future success
