Requires the Ohio State Board of Education to begin updating the social studies model curriculum for grades K-12 by July 1, 2024 to include age- and grade-appropriate instruction on the migration journeys, experiences, and societal contributions of various communities in Ohio and the United States

Mandates instruction covering seven specific community groups: African American; Asian American and Pacific Islander; Arab, African, and North African immigrant, refugee, and asylee; Appalachian; Jewish; Latin American; and Native American communities

Requires the new instruction to be incorporated into the first update of the social studies model curriculum adopted after July 1, 2024

Amends Section 3301.079 of the Ohio Revised Code, which governs statewide academic standards and model curricula for K-12 education
