Amends Ohio Revised Code section 3501.01 to move presidential primary elections from the third Tuesday after the first Monday in March to the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May.

Changes the definition of "Presidential primary election" to specify the May date instead of the March date for holding elections to choose delegates and alternates to national political party conventions.

Removes the restriction on holding special elections in May during years when presidential primary elections occur, allowing special elections to proceed on that date.

Repeals the existing section 3501.01 of the Revised Code and replaces it with the amended version containing the new presidential primary election date.
