Requires the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to install and maintain security camera systems at each rest area under its jurisdiction by June 30, 2031

Mandates the director of transportation consult with the director of public safety and the attorney general when determining an appropriate schedule for camera installation and maintenance

Amends section 5501.03 of the Revised Code to add these security camera requirements to ODOT's statutory duties and powers

Repeals the existing version of section 5501.03 and replaces it with the amended version
