Requires health benefit plans issued, renewed, or modified in Ohio on or after the effective date to cover all expenses associated with prostate cancer screenings for male covered persons at least 40 years of age who are at high risk for prostate cancer.

Covers screenings for men with a diagnosis of genetic alteration or cancer associated with increased prostate cancer risk, or those with a family history of prostate cancer (defined as a first-degree relative diagnosed with, developing, or dying from prostate cancer).

Prohibits health benefit plans from imposing any cost-sharing requirements (copayments, coinsurance, or deductibles) for required prostate cancer screenings.

Defines prostate cancer screening as any evidence-based preventive care or screening procedure, including prostate-specific antigen tests and digital rectal examination.

Directs the superintendent of insurance to adopt rules specifying types of covered prostate-specific antigen tests and establishing screening intervals not to exceed one year between screenings.
