Allows commercial drivers to take the remedial driving course once per one-year period (instead of once per three-year period for regular drivers) to receive a two-point credit on their driving record.

Maintains the 12-point threshold within the applicable period that triggers a class D suspension of driving privileges.

Permits remedial driving instruction to be delivered in-person, via video teleconferencing, via internet, or in any combination of these methods, provided the course provider meets the director's instructional standards.

Approves up to five two-point credits during a driver's lifetime for completing approved remedial driving courses.
