Allows board of education employees to use up to 480 hours of accrued sick leave for parental leave upon birth, stillbirth, or adoption of a child.

Defines eligible parental leave events as: parent listed on birth certificate of newborn, parent listed on fetal death certificate of stillborn child, or legal guardian of newly adopted child in same household.

Limits parental leave use to 60 days of accumulated sick leave for employees covered under section 3319.141 and up to 480 hours for other board employees covered under section 124.38.

Applies to employment contracts and collective bargaining agreements entered into on or after the effective date; does not invalidate existing contracts or agreements.

Defines "stillborn" using the same meaning as section 124.136 of the Revised Code.
