Department of Education and Workforce must develop a publicly accessible system comparing community school performance data with performance data from the school district where the school is located, allowing individuals to analyze these comparisons.

For online or computer-based community schools, performance data must be compared to statewide average performance data for public school districts instead of local district data.

Department of Education and Workforce and educational service centers are prohibited from sponsoring new community schools if a previous sponsor chose not to renew a contract or if the school was declared unauditable.
