Department of Education and Workforce shall establish annual report cards for chartered nonpublic schools enrolling state scholarship students, with performance ratings for achievement and progress components, issued by September 15 or the preceding Friday if that date falls on a weekend.

State Report Card Review Committee is established with 23 members including 2 House representatives, 2 Senate members, the education director, classroom teachers, special education specialist, gifted education specialist, chartered nonpublic school representative, business representative, parent, community school representative, and school administrators from urban, suburban, and rural districts.

Committee shall study state report cards for the 2023-2024 school year and prior years, then submit recommendations for improvements, corrections, and clarifications to the Department of Education and the standing education committees of both chambers by June 30, 2025.

Department shall post all report cards issued under specified code sections in a prominent, publicly accessible location on its website.

Act is known as the School Rating Enhancement Act.
