Amends Ohio Revised Code section 3313.713 to require school districts and chartered nonpublic schools to adopt policies governing the administration of over-the-counter drugs to students.

Policy may address whether districts will authorize employees to administer over-the-counter drugs and whether parent or guardian permission is required before administration.

Maintains existing requirements for prescription drug administration, including written parental requests, prescriber statements with dosage and administration details, and proper drug storage in locked locations.

Prohibits schools from requiring employees to administer prescription or over-the-counter drugs if the employee objects based on religious convictions.

Clarifies that policies do not affect school-based fluoride mouth rinse programs or students' ability to self-apply nonprescription sunscreen without written healthcare provider authorization.
